Teach climate change issues to future talents in French and international
schools around the world.

TAKE ACTION WITH YOUNG GENERATIONS WHO WILL BUILD
WITH US THE WORLD OF TOMORROW

"Future exists to be changed."

UNDERSTAND

Thanks to our partnership with Avenir Climatique, we present the energy in a simple way. What it allows, and how much we are dependent on it in our daily life in this modern world. We talk about ways of producing energy, especially through the burning of fossil fuels, its consequences and what we have left. In addition, we talk about climate change as a whole, from climate and greenhouse gas definitions to IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) scientists forecast, based on our needs, production and emissions. We end with a questions/answers session. The training will be available online for reviewing because we will practice what we have learnt during the second module!

PRACTICE

We are applying knowledge learnt during the first module with a game called La Fresque du Climat (The climate collage). It’s a playful, participatory and creative workshop about climate change, based on collaborative intelligence. In 3 hours, it allows a group of 10 to 50 people to have an introduction on scientist statement and climate change impacts, as presented in the last IPCC report. It works very simply: in teams, students have to find causes and effect links between the different components of climate change. It goes from human activities and used energy to climate refugees, temperature rise and melting of the glaciers.

TAKE ACTION

After those two courses, students want to get involved, take concrete actions, start to change things. But, where to start in front of this huge issue? On what to concentrate to have the maximum of impact? This is the objective of the carbon footprint: at your scale, calculate your own impact on the planet and know specifically on which field you have to act and change. Following this test, we present tomorrow's jobs in many sectors like renewable energies, circular economy, green finance... You know how to change the world! Finally, we get students in touch with local actors of sustainable development and our partners, like makesense, a worldwide community of citizens and social entrepreneurs that helps in taking action.

A METHOD IN 3 STEPS

TEAMS 2019 - 2020

SOUTHERN EUROPE

ACT NOW FOR TOMORROW

Ambassadors

In front of the climate change issues, those three students from the ENC3 engineer school, Stevan Théo & Antoine decided to lauch their project. Crossing Europe by bike, and stop into french schools to teach Talents For Future methodology. They managed to raise fund and go instead of Covid 19 restrictons. In total they made 4000 km by bike and 5000 km by train and visited 5 french colleges :Lisbon, Porto, Bilbao, Amsterdam & Oslo.

EUROPE / MIDDLE EAST

VESSA GREEN

Ambassadors

Octave, Valentin, Axel, Felix, Yoann are 5 students from ENC3. Initially they wanted to go in Bolivia, for Talents For Future but also for repairing a wind turbine, carrying out a technical study to allow the establishment of a water supply network in the town of Anufani. Because of the COVID 19, the five adventurers had to stay in Europe with but did not give up so far: the training was given in French Schools and in the French alliances in all country crossed. More than 1000 students were trained by the team.

SOUTHEAST ASIA

VIOLETTE AND CHARLIE

Training Managers

Violette et Charlie, architect and engineer specialised in energies, moved to New-Zealand 2 years ago after their studies. Sport and nature lovers, committed to be part of the battle against climate change, they gave themselves a crazy challenge : go back to France sailing and cycling only. On their way back, extra-motivated, they will cycle from schools to schools through Southeast Asia, Central Asia, Middle East and Europe, in order to sensitize and engage the new generation.
The project is called Antipode Sans Carbone.

NORTH EUROPE

CAMILLE & SEBASTIEN

Training Managers

Camille is a journalist and Sébastien is an engineer. They both decided to take a sabbatical year to do this project: educating young people about climate change and traveling, going on an adventure without carbon impact! They choosed the bicycle and left despite of the COVID 19 restructions. In the end, they went to 4 French schools and teachd to more then 1,500 students! Nowadays they continue to provide video training in schools and town halls, and they spend time to train future Talents For Future volunteers.
